COST Swimmers compete in Michiana Meet

Earlier this fall, Club Olympia competed in the Michiana Meet at Northridge High School against teams from northern Indiana and Michigan. With 20 swimmers, Club Olympia finished third behind Michiana and Northridge, both of which had more than 50 swimmers.

Freel led Club Olympia with 157 points on nine first-place and one second-place finish in her 10 events. Tony Machavariani and Josh Pendleton each scored 144 points on nine wins in their 10 events.

Westphal won three events and scored 134 points. Cortez scored 128 points on two firsts and nine top-five finishes. Beyer, with six top-fives, and Misha Machavariani, with five top-fives, also scored more than 100 points.

Also scoring for Club Olympia were Maggie Johnson (94), Cole Ehara (83), Connelly Furnish (60), Cassidy Furnish (49.5), Braylee Moore (48), Chad Kelly (47), Lily Pendleton (43), Tynlee Mollenhoff (41), Kichambare (34), Daniella Preston (17), Alexa Mollehnoff (13), Brooklyn Pendleton (11) and Lovely Panda (5).
