Club Olympia Men Finish in 2nd and the Team is 4th at the Jaime Miller Invite.

At Donner Swim Club's annual Jaime Miller Invitational this past weekend, Club Olympia finished 2nd in Men’s scoring, 5th in Women’s, and 4th overall out of 21 teams competing at Donner Aquatic Center from around central and southern Indiana.

FRST (Franklin Regional Swim Team) w/86 swimmers competing won the over-all scoring with 3606.5 points … 1583 (1st) from the boys and 2023.5 (1st) from the girls … winning both of those, too.

RAC (Riverside Aquatics Club) w/45 swimmers was 2nd over-all with 2002 points … 821 (4th) from their boys and 1180.5 (2nd) from their girls.

DSC was 3rd w/66 swimmers with 1605 points … 848 (3rd) from their boys and 757 (3rd) from their girls.

Club Olympia was 4th w/31 swimmers (and 6 of those 31 competed on only one day of the three day meet) with 1324 points … 851 (2nd) from their boys and 573 (6th) from their girls.

Club Olympia also had 7 event winners:

The 13&Over Men’s 200 Medley and 200 Free relays with Judah Nickoll, Cole Ehara and Cavan Stilson on both, and Luke Miller on the 200 Free and Dathan Wolf on the 200 Medley relays.

Camila Mejia Murguia led the team with 148 points in the 11-12 Girls age group by winning the 50 Fly, placing second in the 100 Fly, 200 Free and 200 IM, and getting third in the 50 Back and 100 Free. Camila, just 11, did not place lower than 5th in any of her nine individual swims and got her Age Group State cut in the 100 Fly.

Bella Zhang scored 128 points in the Girls 8&U events, winning the 100 Breaststroke and placing no lower than 7th in her eight individual events. Her brother, Xavier, scored 100 points by placing as high as third in the 11-12 400 Free.

Cavan Stilson, 17, won the Men’s 13&O 400 IM and scored in all but one of his nine events to earn 113 points.

Swimming in just six individual events, Dathan Wolf, 19, scored a total of 92 points and won the Men’s 13& O 50 Fly and 100 Back.

The following swimmershead at least one top 5 finish in their individual events:
Sarthak Deshmukh, 9, scored 68 points in all 8 of his Boys 9-10 events and placed 5th in the 100 Breaststroke. Cole Ehara, 17, scored in 8 of his 9 13&O events, finishing with 74 points, including a 3rd place finish in the 50 Breaststroke and 4th in the 400 IM. Connelly Furnish, 14, only competed in the Girls 13&O 1500 and placed 4th to score 15 points. Ty Mayer, 16, placed 3rd in the Boys 13&O 1500 and finished with 20 points for the meet. Emily Meek, 9, placed 5th in the Girls 9-10 50 Breaststroke and scored in six of her eight events for a total of 45 points. Rebeca Mejia Murguia, 11, finished in 5th in both the 11-12 Girls 50 Breaststroke and 200 Freestyle, scoring in all 9 of her events for a total of 84 points. Luke Miller, 16, placed 4th in the Boys 13&O 50 Breaststroke and 5th in the 400 IM, finishing with 55 points. Annie Murer, 18, finished in 4th in the Girls 13&O 50 Back and 50 Free, as well as 5th in the 100 Back, to score a total of 79 points. Max Tempest, 7, scored 74 points and placed 2nd in the 50 Free and 50 Fly, as well as 3rd in the 100 Free. Xavier Zhang, 11, scored 100 points by placing top 16 in all nine of his 11-12 events, including a 3rd in the 400 Free and 4th in the 50 Fly and 200 IM.

Also scoring points were Daxton Wolf, 11, in seven of his nine 11-12 events for a total of 54 points; Ali Trueblood scored 12 points by placing 7th in the 50 Breaststroke; Chris Suo, 11, scored 8 points in Boys 11-12 events; Ricky Singh, 11; Kay Payne with 4 points in her 11-12 events; Judah Nickoll, 17, with 47 points in Boys 13&O events; Adir Joshi, 11, with 31 points in his 11-12 events; Todd Hundley, 16, with 11 points in his four 13&O races; and, Ethan Hall, 16.

Also competing for Club Olympia were Saya Hauser, Aubrey Hernandez, Vibha Nagiligari, Jasper Nickoll, Harini Pinna, Aksh Ranjan, and Eva Rayomand.
